Event Specific FAQ's

● Alterations to Booth Design - This is not possible as we will be following our standard design.

● The booth layout and overall look will be as per Laha standards.

● Any change in structure, electrical changing the aesthetics is not possible in order to keep the exhibition standards.

● Nails, branding or anything to add on existing structure of walls is not permitted.

● Only one steamer per booth, (Warning: NEVER PUT TWO STEAMERS IN ONE EXTENSION BOARD).

● Steamer Hangers and Display materials are allowed for all Exhibitors inside the space allocated.

● Any customized display design required needs to be communicated with Laha Sales Team and the cost to meet the requirement will be given. This needs to be finalized by end of December 2021.

● Luggage Bags without proper wheels are not allowed inside because the carpet will get damaged and a fine will be levied.

● Additional Rail, Racks, Furniture or Mannequins should be ordered from the Laha catalogue. It will be distributed before December 15th and prior order to be given before Jan 10th.

Customs Clearance Procedures

Categories Like: Fashion, Perfume, Bags, Shoes, Belts etc.

● Certificate of Origin: Exhibitors need to get a certificate from their respective country, a ‘Chamber of Commerce certificate of Origin’ Ex. Made in Country.

● Invoice: The invoice should have the country of Origin (should not put high prices to avoid customs fee).

● Packing list: List of how many Items inside the box.

● Label: Each product must be labelled from the country of its origin

● Bags and shoes: For bags/shoes with animal skin, CITES certificate is required. Cites is a permit used worldwide to ship and use animal skin.

● 5% custom fee will be charged to a client if the value of the items is more than QR 3000/-.

● If the designers is from GCC and have complete requirements listed above there will be no customs fee charged.

● If the designers comes from GCC without certificate of origin a 5% customs fee is chargeable.

● If the designers comes from GCC with Invoice and packing list but the products is not labeled as made in the respective country , a 5% customs fee is chargeable.

● If the designers comes from GCC with Invoice and packing list and products labeled as made in the respective country , a 1% customs fee is chargeable.

A charge of 5% , they need to have the above requirements or at least invoice stating made in respective country, packing list.
